Yet another page that I look at and shudder. I have learned quite a bit about inking with Photoshop over the years. All I can say is that I understand why artists are tempted to rework old pieces, as if by doing so they scream out, “I’m not as crappy as I used to be!!! I promise!”

Or maybe that’s just me.

This was a combination of me showing “A Day in the Life of Lee” and an homage to “Clerks”.

When I first started this comic, there were a lot of homages while  I struggled to get a feel for the characters. Once I was comfortable with the characters and the story, the homages happened more incidentally.

Yes, I will admit I was channeling the seedy guy from Sesame Street who was going up to people and trying to sell them letters (in regards to the trenchcoat-fedora gang). Now see that last panel? That last panel marks an event, where everything goes sideways. Tune in next week to find out what happens next!
