Trouble is My Business Part 3 (Page 16)

And here we have the first appearance of one of our main characters. All I can say at this point is that I had a tough time with her initial character design. I went back and forth with having her be drawn in a completely different style than Isaac and Lee to having her draw in the same style. I fell somewhere in the middle. It was a tough decision but now I feel very comfortable with her, the same way I do with everyone in this universe.

Have a good Samhain, one and all!

One of the things that I’ve always liked to do was have things going on in the background of my work. Because they are in a sleazy bar, what else is going to happen? A bar fight of course.

Happy Birthday to the person who Lee is based off of. You know who you are! Without you, this comic wouldn’t even be here. Have a great day!

(At this point I’d like to point out how cool it is that this comic has updated itself on both Isaac and Lee’s birthdays)

I remember this page taking way longer than it should have to produce. Another page that I look at and realise how much I’ve changed. For those of you just tuning in, I am reminiscing on old pages of Isaac & Lee that I created a few years back now. This is also the time when I started exploring blacks more in my work. The big reason for this is because it was the same time that I started using Ka-Blam to publish my books. I have to admit, it certainly gave me a little more creative freedom to explore more things artistically in this book.
